Odell’s Agent Leaves NY Without New Deal with Giants

Following in-person meetings with team reps last week, Odell Beckham, Jr.’s agent has left New York without a new contract in place for the star wide receiver, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

Sources also tell Anderson that the main hangup is agreeing on what OBJ’s market value is. That value, according to the Giants, is reportedly below Sammy Watkins.

Beckham is expected to become the highest paid WR in the NFL this year, but this makes it seem as though the Giants don’t believe he’s worthy of that. However, there may be a chance for it to still happen.

It really could be too early to tell, but either way, the Giants need to get it together or they may lose one of their greatest offensive assets.
