In October, LeBron James documentary, Shut Up and Dribble, will debut where James serves as the executive producer. The three-part series will focus on NBA players and how they have made their presence off the court whether it may be business or fashion related.
This comes soon after James opened his “IPromise” school for underprivileged children in the Akron, Ohio area.
The elementary school offers free tuition, free uniforms, free bicycle and helmet, free transportation within two miles, free breakfast, lunch, and snacks, a food pantry for families, GEDs and job placement services for parents, and guaranteed tuition to the University of Akron for any student who graduates.
LeBron isn’t only great on the court but extends his greatness off the court. Hopefully, he sets the bar for professional athletes to reach out and give back.
