After a week off from writing, I’m here again posting my cash game lineup. Here I present, your week seven lineup. Let’s get that money!
QB: Baker Mayfield ($7100)
Our goal every week for cash is to find under $7600 and playing a defense any quarterback can throw on. Well, Baker fits just that. He’s $7100 going against the worst passing defense in the league in Tampa Bay. Not to mention he’s gotten 40+ pass attempts in the last three games.
RB: Todd Gurley ($10200)
I lost last week because I passed on two backs that I really wanted but didn’t want to pay up for. I’m not making that mistake this week. I’m taking the best player in the league and not thinking twice about it.
RB: Ezekiel Elliott ($8400)
Like I said, I’m not getting burnt on running back choices this week. I think that’s all that really needs to be said.
WR: Jermaine Kearse ($5000)
Sam Darnold likes his slot receivers and if Quincy Enunwa is out this week due to injury then Kearse should see his fair share of targets. Last week Kearse was targeted ten times where he came down with nine of those for 94 yards.
WR: Willie Snead ($5400)
Every week I choose WR2 versus the Saints. So I like both John Brown and Willie Snead this week. I’m going with Snead because of his price.
WR: Devin Funchess ($6400)
Funchess is getting a consistent amount of targets (7.2 per game) and the Eagles haven’t been a very good team at defending through the air (ranked 23rd).
TE: OJ Howard ($5800)
Winston loves using his tight ends and he found two of them in the end zone last Sunday. OJ Howard seems to be his favorite/best and has the big play capability.
FLEX: Alshon Jeffery ($7600)
I don’t think Jeffery has hit his peak on his price yet so I’m going to play him while I still have that discount. He’s put up 20+ FanDuel points in two of the three weeks he’s played and has been targeted almost ten times per game while also finding the end zone three times.
DEF: Indianapolis Colts ($4100)
If Josh Allen is out this week, then the Colts defense is being locked in. Josh Allen was injured last week and it doesn’t appear he will be good to play as he will be looked at on a week to week basis. I hope the Bills start Nathan Peterman this week. After he threw a pick six and another interception in the last minute thirty last week I don’t know if that’ll happen.
Remember this lineup is not completely final. I make updates throughout the week once more injury and weather reports are noted. Follow my Twitter account for final changes.
